Setting up EMAG manufacturing systems
The course is directed toward students who have little hands-on experience with EMAG machines. Based on what they learned during the programming course “EMAG specifics” or on the theoretical knowledge they have, we offer them the opportunity to practice what they have learned.

Details
The benefits
- You will feel comfortable handling the EMAG manufacturing system and its controls
- You will be able to independently tool up and later remove the tooling from the machine, to generate the required CNC programs, including peripherals, according to the EMAG program architecture and to start production
- You will recognize and correct errors and receive valuable advice on how to reduce idle times
Objectives
- To increase machine availability by increasing operating safety
- Faster from drawing to production
- To increase the process integrity of the production cycle
Central elements
- Hands-on training in the use of operating elements and in managing operating cycles
- Working in operating mode Automatic
- Workpiece and workpiece program selection at the control panel
- Setting up the machine (e.g. workholding equipment, tools, transport pallets, gripper jaws)
- Read-in of existing workpiece-related sample programs
- Ascertaining all necessary workpiece-specific data and entering it in the NC program or the relevant input menus
- Test-running automatic cycles (e.g. unloading, loading, clamping, reclamping)
- Test production
- Removing tooling set from machine
